Establish family meal time at least 3-4 days per week. It’s important to plan meals weekly to provide healthy options for your family daily. Meal planning helps to insure you have all the necessary ingredients, the time to prepare, and lets your family know that meal time is family time; a gathering to communicate as a family, role model healthy behaviors and disconnect from the TV, video games and technology.
Data shows that families who eat together regularly have more secure, confident children who are less likely to get into trouble.
